The Damson Hut
A shepherd’s hut on the edge of the damson orchard, with a wood burner and a copper bath outside.
Built by our neighbour from larch grown in the valley, the Damson Hut sits at the top of the orchard looking down the valley towards Morecambe Bay. Inside there’s a proper double bed, a wood burner, a small kitchen and a shower room. Outside: a copper bath, a fire pit and nothing but sheep. Breakfast hampers from the shop are delivered to your door each morning.

The shop opens at nine, the kettle’s on by ten, and the fields are open for picking most days from June to October.
